Design: The Mission 4 immediately stands out with its larger form factor compared to the SD and LE. It features a longer barrel, a more substantial grip, and a Picatinny rail for accessories. The overall aesthetic is aggressive and purpose-built for defense.
Capacity: The standout feature is the extended magazine. While the SD and LE use 5-round magazines, the Mission 4 ships with higher-capacity magazines that significantly increase your round count. In a high-stress home defense scenario, having extra rounds without needing to reload is a meaningful advantage.
Performance: The longer barrel translates to improved accuracy at range. In our testing, groupings at 50 feet were noticeably tighter than the SD. Velocity is also slightly higher due to the extended barrel, which means projectiles burst more reliably on impact.
Accessories: The built-in Picatinny rail allows mounting of tactical lights, laser sights, and red dot sights. For home defense, we strongly recommend adding a weapon-mounted light for target identification in low-light conditions.
